Nichos Kits
This year, thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Issaquah Friends of the Library, the Latino Club of Issaquah is preparing free kits for families to bring the fun and joy of this holiday into their homes!

Each kit will contain materials to create a nicho or decorated shrine. This popular Latino art boxes are traditionally part of Day of the Dead altars. 

Kits are limited.

Nichos Workshop
While we won’t be able to celebrate in person, we will offer a Zoom workshop with Mexican artist Amaranta Sandys on November 1 at 11 am.

Este año, gracias al generoso patrocinio de los Amigos de la Biblioteca de Issaquah, el Club Latino de Issaquah está preparando kits gratuitos para que las familias lleven la diversión y la alegría de esta festividad a sus hogares. Cada kit contendrá materiales para crear un nicho o santuario decorado. Estas populares cajas de arte latino son tradicionalmente parte del Día de Muertos.altares. Hay un número limitado de kits, ¡asegúrese de registrarse para el suyo pronto!

Taller de Nichos
Si bien no podremos celebrar en persona, ofreceremos un taller de Zoom con la artista mexicana Amaranta Sandys el domingo 1 de noviembre a las 11 am. ¡Estamos ansiosos por ver qué crearán las familias con sus kits!
